Okay well I'm so happy that I found my little tabs because I got them a month or two ago. The nose clips were too big and I was hesitant to buy another set I just wasn't sure what to get. I bought the extra small and they work perfectly. Now I have boxes of those sticky ones that I won't need to use. What will I do with them all?
I have been using the black intake bands for a couple of years now and they work OK. If you have a bone spur in your nose, you’re still going to struggle a lot even wearing the clips, but they do help a lot!The reason I am writing this particular review is because the new translucent clear nose clips are just heinous, lol. They have ugly white blocky magnets on the sides which completely defeats the purpose of translucent nose clips, making it look like a geeky medical device. And even worse still, the shiny reflective tendency of the clear nose clip is extremely distracting and could be dangerous while driving- heinous while gaming. My advice would be get yourself the black clips because at least they look like a sports device (football etc).
The only things that help my 9 year old breathe at night and get decent sleep. They work great while he plays sports too. I do wish it came with the tape strips you need to use it. Other reviewers have mentioned the frustration of having to buy the tape strips, the band, and the case separately, and I agree. My son has lost his multiple times, so a word of advice, be sure not to leave it on the kitchen counter (kids, amiright?!) where it could magnetize to a baking sheet and end up in the oven with dinner — ask me how I know.It is slightly fussy to apply every night, and applying the stickers takes some patience/practice to not have to reposition them. The sticky strips are also a bit too strong for my son’s sensitive skin to use every night. They ended up irritating his skin after 5 days straight. But considering all of that, they work better than anything else I’ve tried for his nighttime congestion.
The hubby loves this. He struggles to breathe with his deviated septum and has been sleeping amazing with these. Make sure to clean and dry the areas where the sticky pads will go so it doesn’t fall off in the middle of the night.
Amazing bands! Can’t recommend them enough.I have tried others and keep going back to these and have provided several members of my family with one each.I do use them with 3m micro tape and swap out the metal pieces since there are five of us using these to help breathe through the night and buying the normal stickers the company sells gets very pricey.
